I am a financial adviser, nearing chartered status, working directly with our Wealth clients, having previously worked as a Paraplanner at St Barts Finance, providing technical support to the advisers.
With only a couple of exams remaining, I am close to achieving Chartered status, a milestone that reflects dedication and commitment to the profession and a qualification widely regarded as one of the most respected in financial planning.
What’s something you’re proud of?
Winning an industry award in 2026 with the following commendation: ‘Our winner was noted by judges as a safe pair of hands for clients. This is an individual who thinks outside of the box, working strategically with different financial planning teams and seeing through their eyes as well as challenging the status quo.’
Who inspires you?
Pete Matthew – financial YouTuber and all-round nice guy. Pete is always up to date with the latest industry developments and has a way of making even the most complex topics easy to understand. His people-focused style has influenced my own approach to helping my clients.
What talents or hobbies do you have?
I love camping in all its forms, enjoy pushing the boundaries of what’s considered normal, and I’m pretty sure I’m the only person in the UK to have camped in the Icelandic wilderness in a hammock at -22°C!
What’s your favourite thing to do on the weekends?
A perfect weekend would involve a challenging adventure, on foot or bike, with a cold-water dip, some great food and camping in the mix!
