My role at St Barts Finance

I began my career in Protection and Insurance, which provided a strong foundation for my professional development. In 2017, I progressed into a lead role, providing specialist product and provider support and helping to ensure that every protection case achieved the best possible outcome for the client.

I subsequently moved into a senior management role within the private education sector. I am currently working towards the CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership and continue to apply the skills and experience gained in that role.

Protection has always been an area about which I am particularly passionate. With the benefit of my knowledge and experience, I was keen to refocus my career on this field.

Getting to know me

What’s something you’re proud of?
I taught myself how to cook and bake throughout the ‘Covid Era’ and since then amassed a following base on social media that has enabled me to attend multiple food related events & Brand deals. I followed a passion of mine and what started out as a few videos here and there turned into something that I never thought would happen a few years later!

Who inspires you?
My father has always been a significant source of inspiration, particularly because of his entrepreneurial mindset and determination. From a young age, he encouraged my interest in golf and motivated me to continue developing my abilities. He has also helped me apply a more commercially focused approach, supporting my growth both professionally and personally.

What talents or hobbies do you have?
Asides from loving the food scene, I am an avid golfer that plays 2 times per week and currently has a handicap of 7.8. I am continuing to practice, play as much as possible, and get as low as I can!

What’s your favourite thing to do on the weekends?
My favourite weekend would involve trying out new coffee shops/bakeries, getting as many steps in as possible along the way, and then cooking for either my friends or family (no complaints on the cooking from them so far!)
